모든 행복은 아주 작은 씨앗에서 시작된다. 《Seed of Happiness》의 중심에 자리한 꽃 동글이는 작가 자신의 정체성이자, 행복의 씨앗이다. 그 씨앗을 중심으로, 행복의 에너지를 담은 다채로운 색의 동글이들이 점차 퍼져나가며 하나의 거대한 만다라를 형성한다.
여기서 퍼져나가는 것이 무엇인지는 중요하지 않다. 중요한 것은 그것이 퍼져나간다는 사실 자체다 — 하나의 색이 옆의 색을 물들이고, 그 물듦이 다시 그 옆으로 이어지며 만들어내는 리듬. 작품 앞에 선 관람자의 마음은 이 확산의 리듬을 따라 함께 움직이기 시작한다. 《Seed of Happiness》는 그런 의미에서 눈으로 보는 이미지가 아니라, 관람자의 마음속에서 행복의 바이브가 연결되고 확장되도록 유도하는 하나의 시각적 명상이다.
만다라(Mandala)는 '원'을 의미하며, 인간의 내면과 우주의 본질을 상징하는 구조이다. 이 작품은 행복 또한 하나의 원처럼 순환한다고 바라본다. 작가 자신에게서 시작된 행복은 색과 리듬이 되어 관람자에게 전해지고, 다시 관람자의 마음에서 새로운 확장을 만들어낸다. 중심에서 시작된 작은 빛이 끝없이 확장되며 만들어내는 연결의 풍경은, 우리 모두가 이 행복의 순환 속에 함께 존재하고 있음을 이야기한다.

All happiness begins from a very small seed. At the center of Seed of Happiness sits a flower-Dongli that stands for the artist's own identity — the seed of happiness itself. From that seed, countless Dongli in shifting colors, each carrying its own charge of happiness, spread gradually outward to form one vast mandala.
What each of these radiating forms specifically is does not matter. What matters is that they spread — one color bleeding into the next, that bleeding continuing outward in a rhythm. A viewer standing before the work begins, almost involuntarily, to move with that rhythm of spreading. In that sense, Seed of Happiness is less an image to be looked at than a visual meditation designed to let the vibe of happiness connect and expand within the viewer's own mind.
Mandala means "circle," and represents both the human interior and the essential structure of the cosmos. This work sees happiness as something that circulates the same way: happiness beginning within the artist herself becomes color and rhythm, passed on to the viewer, and expands anew within the viewer's own mind. The landscape of connection created by a small light expanding endlessly from its center speaks to the idea that we all exist together within this circulation of happiness.
